- While many celery recipes focus on the crisp stems of the celery plant, celery leaves are also packed with peppery flavours which can be used in a range of recipes that bring out the best in this overlooked ingredient.
- Dried celery leaves can be chopped and mixed with kosher salt to make your own celery salt - the perfect accompaniment to any savoury dish. You can also use these leaves to make celery pesto, or add them to soups and stews.
- Along with adding flavour, celery leaves provide you with a range of nutrients. The leaves actually contain more vitamin A and vitamin C than the stalks, and are high in both iron and magnesium.
